Negro 'Angelin' Langhe Nebbiolo 2014

Current owner Giovanni Negro runs the Angelo Negro estate, which is in the production zone of Roero, known for its white variety, Arneis. He was amongst the first producers to make a dry style of Roero Arneis, in 1971. Following tradition, the winery in Monteu Roero now showcases a lineup of Arneis as well as an impressive range of Roero Nebbiolo. Today, Negro observes organic practices while managing a staggering 64 hectares. This is 100% Nebbiolo fermented and aged between 80% stainless steel tanks and 20% oak casks. Intense ruby red color with orange hues. Fresh aromatics with hints of, blackberry and blackcurrant. Astringent and lean on the palate with a pronounced dry finish.
