La Maliosa Bianco 2013 Toscana IGT


Run by Antonella Manuli, La Maliosa is a 160 hectare farm in Maremma, Tuscany. Wine, honey, and olive oil are all produced on site, using sustainable and natural methods of farming. The wine production area consists of six hectares, where a slew of varietals can be found, such as; Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese, Alicante, Procanico, Trebbiano rosa and Grechetto. The Bianco Toscana is a combination of several grapes including Trebbiano, Greco piccolo, and Procanico. 

La Maliosa Bianco is mostly Procanico with a variety of other local varietals blended in. Grapes are directly crushed and then macerated for about 3 weeks. The wine is pressed off and then transferred to neutral oak barrels for 6 months. 

This is a full of fruit, dry and versatile wine.

Great paired with spicy foods, to pasta and vegetables dishes.
