From 50-year-old vines, the 2020 is just Mario’s second Schioppettino vintage; spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, with 14 days of maceration, then aged in stainless also for 12 months. Rosebuds, wild strawberries, and light clove abound, with hints of musky undergrowth.
