Ancarani Centesimino 2013


Ancarani follows the philosophy of polyculture and organic farming.  They are as proud of their wheat as they are of their wines.  Along with biodiversity, they are dedicated to the local grapes of Emilia Romagna, making wines from varieties such as Centesimino and Famoso that are rarely seen elsewhere.

Centesimino is full bodied, with darker fruit and a more generous mid-palate than Italian reds like Sangiovese.
