Le Coste Bianco 2018

Procanico (a sibling of Trebbiano) paired with a dash of Malvasia, Vermentino, Greco antico, and other regional varietals, from vines around fifty years old planted over volcanic soils. It sees a few weeks of maceration on skins before being pressed off to old barrels to rest for a year. This wine is a powerhouse of flavor. Golden in color, with intense aromas of yellow fruits, macerated flowers, citrus, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is bright, mineral, and savory, reminiscent of chestnuts, herbs, and almonds, a well-balanced mix of fleshly fruit, grip, and acidity. Wild juice that sums up pretty much everything we love about volcanic wines!
